The Art Library is managed by Maria O'Toole and is owned by Jac Henderson and Pete Carter who both have day to day involvement in the business. Primarily we rent and sell paintings to offices and businesses. We also have an established private client base here in New Zealand and overseas.

Though the company was established in 2003, it has a much longer history: In June 2003 The Art Library Ltd bought Rent a Picture who had been operating in Wellington for over 20 years. Jac worked for Rent a Picture in the early days and then moved to London and set up and built a similar business.

Together we are growing the Art Library and moving it forward. We have premises in Petone to display and store the work and have created this website to offer potential and existing clients the opportunity to view available work on the web. Although based in Wellington we have work in most major centres in the country.
