Eric Collett

Born 1920 UK origin.

Travelled and worked extensively in Norway, India, Africa, Jamaica, America, Australia and Europe, now resident in New Zealand. Ex Council member of the New Zealand Academy of fine Arts and elected Artist Member 1984.

Member of the Wellington Artists' Gallery Trust Exhibited in the Academy exhibitions for last twenty years.

Receiver Merit award in William Exhibition1986 and Caltex award in 1988 Work held in Corporate and Private collections New Zealand and Overseas. Held solo exhibition of paintings Sculpture and furniture in 1993. The first of a series Academy Solo exhibitions
